Planning Our Flower Farm

Flowers have been a huge part of my life for many years now. my flower business began in 2014 and what started as a little extra income grow into a huge passion. It steadily grow into a business that supplies fresh cut flowers to florist and wholesalers.

Flowers are more than just a business to me, they have been apart of my family history. My parents grew flowers and I have many family members who worked within the flower industry. Growing up surrounded by flowers gave me a deep appreciation for the hard work, beauty and satisfaction that comes with producing something from the land. it was only natural that i would eventually find myself following the same path.

Today I am incredibly grateful to still be growing flowers and continuing to build on everything I have learned over the years.

New Property and A New Beginning !

we now entering one of the most exciting (and stressful) stages of the journey. Moving the flower farm to a new property and planning what we hope will become our forever farm. There is so much work ahead, a lot of the effort right now is happening on paper. We are spending countless hours planning layouts, drawing maps, measuring and discussing every part of the farm.

The goal is to create a farm that not only supports the flower business but also allows us to build something special for our family and future.

The flower farm will remain a major focus with dedicated growing areas and polyhouses to help extend the growing season and improve flower quality. We have carefully planned the placement of these structures to for good amount of sunlight , access and workflow.

While this move give us the opportunity to create something much bigger than just a flower farm.

The vision is to develop a diverse and working farm where flowers, olives, bees, fruit trees and vegetables all work together. A place to learn, encourages pollinators and to share our journey with others.

It’s so exciting to think about what the farm will look like in five or ten years. Right now its just a plan on paper but every successful farm starts with a vision.

The Plan !

Looking ahead!

As we prepare for the next chapter, we are very excited about the opportunities ahead. There will no doubt be challenges, plenty of mistakes and lots of learning along the way, but that’s all apart of it.

This farm is more than a business expansion. Its a continuation of a family connection to flowers, a chance to build something lasting and the beginning of an exciting new adventure.
